Copper, 27, started two of the 15 games he played last season, his first with the Chiefs. He finished with 68 yards on four receptions and notched a career- high 16 special teams tackles.

The East Carolina product has caught 50 passes for 668 yards and six touchdowns in 78 career games with Dallas (2004-05), New Orleans (2006-08), Baltimore (2008) and Kansas City.
